The complete groom outfit checklist for an Indian wedding

Gujarati weddings have many functions, and each one needs its own look. Use this checklist.

Outfits - Haldi: a light cotton or silk kurta in yellow or white. - Mehendi: a printed kurta with a koti. - Sangeet: an indo-western or a bright kurta set. - Wedding: a sherwani with safa, stole and mala. - Reception: a tuxedo, jodhpuri suit or indo-western.

Accessories Safa, stole or dupatta, mala, brooch, pocket square, cufflinks and mojari or formal shoes.

When to book - Custom stitching: two to three weeks before the function. - Rentals: as early as possible in wedding season.
